Oprah denies Jesus and God as the only way to Heaven

I was referred to a Sermon as a response to my post on Mandated Worship (read here). In this Sermon Pastor John Piper mentioned that C.S. Lewis and a few others have denied Jesus and God due to a similar reason as my post outlined. While at first this didn’t shock me, I have to admit I had to rewind the sermon and listen again with he mentioned that Oprah has denounced Jesus as her savior and God as the only way to Heaven. It seems she doesn’t deny Heaven’s existence or that God exists but instead that there has to be more ways than one to get into Heaven.

Here’s a Quote:

This is so sad because Oprah is a hero of tens of millions of television viewers and she is expressing her own Biblical beliefs without any understanding of the Bible.  Oprah has in effect denied the teachings of the Bible and of Jesus Christ by asking her viewing audience, “How can there be only one way to heaven or to God?”

When a lady in her audience asked, “What about Jesus?”  Oprah defiantly answered her by repeating the question, “What about Jesus?” Oprah went on to explain how she had been a Baptist until she heard a charismatic Pastor make the statement that God was a jealous God.  She told her viewers in her opinion God was simply love and God being described as a Jealous God made her really stop and think.

I love this because it means that Oprah has announced to millions of viewers that there can be an option besides the very restrictive nature of Christianity.

Jesus says, “I am the way!” therefore there is no other way to heaven, except thru Jesus Christ and the cross of Calvary! In reality every path leads to hell! And there will be many that go in that gate!

Oh I should have mentioned CS Lewis turned his life over to Christ late in life!

Yes I realize CS Lewis converted. And as far as Jesus saying it, would you accept it if another person said the same thing?

Considering the fact they did not create the universe, yes I would. You need to look into the subject called the Babylonian conspiracy! A subject that is very difficult to research cause the author of the conspiracy doesn’t want you to know what is going on! Probably 99.9999% of the people in this world are clueless to full extent of the conspiracy! Lots of people know aspects without even realizing they are a part of the conspiracy! Not my intention to create havoc on your website!
